My passion is all sports but bodybuilding has been a lifelong goal of mine from an early age.
I ran summer track in Houston, Tx for a track team called Gold Rush. I was diagnosed with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis at the age of 12.
The doctor told my mother I would be lucky if I could walk by 25.
My mother went against the doctor's orders and refused to accept the morphine treatment for my arthritis pain.
The X-rays showed arthritis in every joint of my body. I couldn’t walk and was rendered paralyzed for a couple of days.
My mother sought out other methods, she found a chiropractic doctor who worked with me until I could walk again and eventually was out of pain.
She instilled in me to have faith in God and never give up on myself.
I still battle with other medical issues. I have stenosis of the spine and Raynaud‘s of the hands and feet. Also, at a very earlier age, I had a hysterectomy due to 17 fiber cysts and endometriosis of the ovaries.
My most recent surgery was on both eyes, another autoimmune disease of the lacrimal glands.
I mention some of the medical issues I have faced and I’m still facing now, to show you can overcome all things with positive people in your life and your faith in God.
I achieved my long life passion, I became a Pro-figure bodybuilder.
Featured in Fitness & Physique Magazine, received for Best Figure Walk, and obtained my certification in personal training.
My mission now is to work with clients with back issues and other medical physical issues.
By sharing my past and present medical history, I hope it will inspire others to follow their dreams.
